Mod Pizza was founded with a single, stubborn belief: that exceptional pizza should be accessible to everyone — not just those willing to wait 45 minutes or pay premium prices. We opened our first location in San Antonio with a wood-fired oven, a handful of recipes handed down through generations, and a team that cared more about flavour than fanfare.
From the very first day, guests could watch every pizza being made right in front of them — dough hand-stretched to order, sauce ladled fresh, toppings chosen freely. No frozen shortcuts, no reheated lines. Just real food, made fast, made well.
What started as a neighbourhood spot quickly became a San Antonio staple. Word spread not just about the pizza, but about the way you felt walking out — full, satisfied, and glad you came.

We introduce our signature build-your-own format — unlimited toppings, one price — forever changing how San Antonians think about personalised pizza.
Mod Pizza launches its first annual Food Drive and commits 5% of monthly revenue to local hunger relief programmes across Bexar County.
Demand from corporate clients and family events leads us to launch a full catering programme, bringing Mod Pizza to offices, weddings, and stadiums.
